Abbott Metabolic Conference 2025

Abbott initiated this 2-day conference in 1988 with a mission to identify advances in nutrition management of patients with inherited metabolic disorders. For the past 30+ years, Abbott has invited dietitians, physicians, nurses, and counsellors from around the world to share their knowledge in a forum for health care professionals to learn and exchange ideas.

AMC 2025 Objectives:

• Examine the genetic and biochemical foundations of various inborn errors of metabolism (IEMs).
• Discuss advancements in diagnosing and managing IEMs, focusing on recent research findings, emerging treatments, and therapeutic approaches.
• Evaluate the role of nutritional management in IEMs, emphasizing evidence-based dietary interventions and strategies to prevent nutrient deficiencies.
• Establish opportunities for healthcare professionals to connect, collaborate, and share clinical experiences.
