Marina Hernandez, MS, RD, has over a decade of experience as a clinical dietitian at MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Long Beach, where she is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of neonates, children, and women. Since April 2023, she has served as the internship coordinator, overseeing the training and development of dietetic interns to ensure they achieve the necessary competencies and standards of the profession.

In her role as a Clinical Dietitian IV in the neonatal intensive care unit, Marina provides specialized nutrition care for extremely low-birth-weight and very low-birth-weight infants, employing evidence-based practices and protocols to deliver optimal outcomes. She holds a certification in lactation education and possesses expertise in parenteral nutrition, malnutrition assessment, the nutrition care process, and nutrition education.
