Surekha holds both a Master's in Science and a Master’s in Education. She has a long history in dietetics starting in 1992. Surekha started her metabolic nutrition role in 1997 in the Division of Genetics and Metabolism at the University of North Carolina. Surekha stayed in North Carolina but is now working as a clinical research dietitian in the Division of Medical Genetics at Duke University. She is an excellent resource for the nutritional management of glycogen storage disorders
