In this course, Susan Meier, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, will discuss the pharmacodynamics of cannabis and its impact on the mother and developing fetus; review current research on the effects of perinatal marijuana use; and summarize recommendations for pregnant and lactating mothers. Originally presented as a live webinar on 19 July 2023.

Susan Meier, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC practices as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and is an Assistant Professor at Regis University, Loretto Heights School of Nursing Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program.
