Course Description

In this course, Manpreet S. Mundi, MD, will discuss challenges with optimal enteral nutrition delivery during transitions of care; describe novel nutrition support care models to manage complications of enteral nutrition; and review advantages and challenges of telehealth utilization in home nutrition support. Manpreet S Mundi is a Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. He holds the leadership positions of Medical Director of the Home Enteral Nutrition Program, Chair of Inpatient Nutrition, and Medical Director of Clinical Nutrition within the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism, and Nutrition in the Mayo Clinic Department of Internal Medicine as well as Medical Director of Food Services for Mayo Clinic. Dr Mundi received his MD from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. He completed a fellowship in endocrinology at Los Angeles County/USC Hospital. His clinical interests include malnutrition, nutrition support in home and inpatient settings, diabetes, obesity, bariatric surgery, and intestinal failure. Dr Mundi has published more than 100 journal articles and six book chapters.
