Courses Series

Bridging the Gap

Series Description

This two-part course explores the vital role of muscle health in overall well-being, particularly in older adults. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of key concepts and terminology related to muscle health and learn how conditions such as sarcopenia, malnutrition, frailty, and cachexia intersect. The series also presents evidence-based tools for identifying these conditions, highlights age-specific nutritional considerations, and emphasizes the importance of nutrition during transitions of care to support improved health outcomes and quality of life.  Both courses were initially presented in 2024 as part of an ANHI webinar series.
