Carbohydrates Through the Life Cycle & Across Tissues

This year’s research conference featured a faculty of world-renowned experts who summarized state-of-the-art evidence on the role of carbohydrates through the life cycle and across tissues. The program included presentations on carbohydrates for healthy fetal development; healthy growth of infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents; physical performance; metabolic flexibility; brain function; and adult weight management. Researchers also discussed the role of dietary patterns and snacking in health and disease.
