Michele Tedder is a nurse leader, certified life coach, educator, and subject matter expert advancing equitable obesity and chronic disease care through clinical expertise, curriculum development, and lived experience.
She is a sought-after speaker and has served as a thought leader, panelist and speaker for organizations like the American Diabetes Association, the Patient Centered Outcomes and Research Institute (PCORI), the National Minority Quality Forum, Healthy Women Magazine, and many more.
She is the founder of Village Empowerment Solutions, LLC, a consulting practice dedicated to supporting organizations in translating lived experience, clinical knowledge, and evidence-based practice into programs and strategies that improve health outcomes for people living with chronic diseases.
Michele is the host of Dear Healthcare Provider, a podcast connecting patients, healthcare providers, and policymakers to tackle barriers to equitable care. She also serves on the national board of directors for the Obesity Action Coalition, advocating for better access to obesity care and prevention.
Michele holds a BSN from the University of Pittsburgh and an MSN from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Jubril Oyeyemi is an award-winning primary care physician who practices full-time medicine in Camden, New Jersey. On staff at Virtua Health System, Dr Oyeyemi serves on various committees including bioethics, quality, patient safety, and continuity of care for complex care patients.
Passionate about healthcare access, Dr Jubril founded the Cherry Hill Free Clinic in 2017. This nonprofit primary care center is dedicated to serving the uninsured and underinsured free of charge. The Clinic is staffed by a diverse team of passionate volunteers and generously supported by local community organizations and health systems. The Cherry Hill Free Clinic has grown to serve thousands of patients in just four years, becoming one of New Jersey’s largest free care centers.
Dr Jubril received the President and CEO Superstar Award, the Dorothy Cox Fisher Community Service Award, and the Hajj Musa Sabir Dedicated Service Award. He was named South Jersey Biz’s Who’s Who in Healthcare in 2019, NJBIZ Volunteer of the Year in 2020, and received the 2020 Congressional Martin Luther King Award for the work done at the Cherry Hill Free Clinic. He was appointed to join Governor Murphy’s COVID restart and recovery healthcare advisory council as well as the Governor’s Taskforce on Wealth Inequality in New Jersey.
In December 2022, Dr Jubril and his team were awarded the Culture of Health Champion Award by the New Jersey YMCA state alliance and the Department of Health for an outstanding contribution to advancing health equity in New Jersey. Dr Oyeyemi was appointed to serve as medical director of Virtua’s community health institute in addition to an appointment to be the medical director of the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers. In this new role, he gets to work in complex care. When not working, Dr Oyeyemi enjoys time with his family- his wife Na'imah and his 2 daughters, Tassie and Muna.

Jasmine is currently working as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist residing in Raleigh, North Carolina. She believes in a realistic approach to improving nutritional habits for a better quality of life. Her interest in nutrition blossomed from health problems dominating herself and family's life but could have been corrected through preventive diet measures. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Dietetics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University at Chicago.
Jasmine is the Co-founder of EatWell Exchange Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the primary goal of bridging the gap in health outcomes by guiding communities in making positive lifelong changes while respectfully maintaining their culture. Along with her colleague, Ashley Carter, they provide community outreach and various culturally relevant nutrition programs geared towards preventing chronic diseases. They go out in the community and teach all ages — adjusting their presentations to relate to their culture and making practical changes that are relevant to their needs. They work with communities that are considered food deserts by helping their local gardens gain support which will increase access to healthier foods in those areas. EatWell Exchange partners with nonprofits, businesses, organizations, and schools to reach various low-socioeconomic populations.
Jasmine has a consulting company, Nourish Through Nutrition, teaching about diabetes, mindful eating and making behavioral changes. She emphasizes making changes around lifestyle while also debunking food myths, helping people develop better relationships with their food and making healthier food choices that are sustainable and last a lifetime. As a media dietitian she has been featured on many local and national media outlets such as Today's Dietitian, WFLA Tampa, Philadelphia channel 17, NBC Miami and many more.
