Patricia Becker is a board-certified specialist in pediatric nutrition and nutrition support. She has worked at Dayton Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and the University of North Carolina Children’s Hospital, among others. In addition, she is in private practice KidsRD.com as a pediatric dietitian, specializing in pediatric undernutrition.

Ms Becker served as chair of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Evidence Analysis Library Pediatric Nutrition Screening Project. She is the author of the Pediatric Malnutrition section of the Pediatric Nutrition Care Manual. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics/ASPEN Pediatric Malnutrition Work group and lead author of the Consensus statement for ASPEN/AND pediatric malnutrition. Ms Becker is an author of Identifying Malnutrition in Preterm and Neonatal Populations: Recommended Indicators.

Dr Mauro Fisberg is a Pediatrician and Nutrologist and Senior Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in the Escola Paulista de Medicina at Universidade Federal de Sao Paulo. He received his medical degree from the Universidade Federal de Sao Paulo. Dr Fisberg is currently Coordinator of the Excellence Center for Nutrition and Feeding Difficulties – PENSI Institute – Jose Luiz E. Setubal Foundation – Sabara Children’s Hospital; Scientific Coordinator of the Healthy Life Style Task Froce, ILSI Brazil; PI (Chair) of Estudio Latino Americano de Nutricion y Salud (ELANS) and Estudo Brasileiro de Nutricao e Saude (EBANS) (Latin American and Brazilian study of nutrition and health); member of the Department of Nutrology of the Brazilian Pediatric Society; and Coordinator of the Feeding Difficulties Task Force of the Sociedad Latinoamericana de Gastroenterologia Hepatologia y Nutricion Pediatrica (SLAGHNP). He is also an alumnus of the United Nations University’s World Hunger Program and the Kellogg Foundation’s Partners of the Americas Leadership Program. Dr Fisberg specializes in adolescent nutrition, childhood obesity, food intake and consumption, anemia, and nutritional intervention.

Sanja Kolaček, MD, MSc, PhD

Sanja Kolaček finished University of Zagreb Medical School, where she also received her MSc and PhD degrees. Following her training in Paediatrics, she was trained in Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at various institutions, among which were also the Children's Hospital Birmingham, Liver Unit at the King's College Hospital London and the Endoscopy Unit of the Gastroenterology Department at the Academish Medisch Centrum Amsterdam. In 2008 she was appointed as Professor of Paediatrics at the Zagreb University Medical School. Within ESPGHAN, prof. Kolaček is the current ESPGHAN President, elected at 2018. Previously, she served as the Secretary General, was/is an active member of the Working groups for IBD, acute diarrhea, and Pre/Probiotics, and for two terms was member of the Committee of Nutrition. She is/was also serving in different ruling and educational bodies of the ECCO, ESPEN, UEG and in various Croatian medical associations.

Her editorial activities include being Associate Editor of the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (JPGN), and membership of the Advisory Board for the Journal of Crohn's and Colitis. Her main clinical interests include chronic enteropathies and chronic intestinal failure, clinical nutrition and nutrition of healthy infants, while her present research activities are in the field of IBD, Coeliac disease, Probiotics and Disease-related malnutrition. Professor Kolaček has published more than 250 papers in peer-reviewed journals, has written many book chapters and edited several textbooks, mainly in the field of paediatric nutrition and gastroenterology.

Dan Nemet, MD, MHA

Dan Nemet, MD, MHA, is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel, where he also serves as Associate Dean. Dr Nemet is the Co-founder and Director of the Child Health and Sports Center at the Meir Medical Center, a multidisciplinary center focused on research and clinical aspects of the interaction between child development, nutrition, growth, and physical activity.

Bob Murray, MD

Dr. Robert Murray has been a leader in the ANHI-sponsored Growth Ambassador Program for several years. Dr. Murray spent more than 20 years in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition in The Ohio State University School of Medicine. He served as the Pediatric Nutrition Medical Director for Abbott from 2003-2006. For ten years, Dr. Murray was a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on School Health, serving as chair in the final four years. He is a board member of Action for Healthy Kids as well as a board member of the Children’s Hunger Alliance, and previously served on the Board of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation. Dr. Murray is a past-President of the Ohio Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
